For starters, you’re all on crack. No one said this was funny. It’s a HYPERBOLE.
His reaction to the hit proves how vicious it was. The title reiterates how vicious the hit was. The hit was so illegal that it appeared as though he was just saying “Good bye world” as he fell to the ice.
This storm of anger is fueled by the illusion that some one said this was funny. Which did not occur.
